Default OEM ECU Tuning

Here is something you may find interesting. Basically this software will allow you to read, log, edit and flash your OEM Mazda ECU. I just found this software so I don't know much about it. If someone has hands-on experience with this please give us a run down of what this software can do.

One of our neighbors - another speed shop, has worked with this software for the DSM's and EVO's and says it's pretty straightforward. We may give it a shot on our Speed3 one of these days. Not sure if it supports the new 2010 ECU's though. They are different from the 2009.

I'm sure you can tune turbo or non turbo cars, all you're doing is modifying the A/F mixture.
You can also do this using megasquirt, its a DIY tuning community where you do everything yourself right down to making the chip.

Contact DPtune. They flash the factory ECU. Get your car on the Dyno. Data log your run with wide band A/F ratio and send it along with your ECU. From what the guy said its typically a 2-3 day turn around.

Most parts for Gen 1 2.0 do NOT fit for Gen 2 2.0. Thank you for the understanding.
