Any ideas? Any replacement tire recommendations? |
What stock tires do you have? The life varies a lot depending on the style of driving, type of tire, etc.
Goodyear RSAs (stock on 17" rims on the early models) lasted anywhere from 10,000-25,000 miles. But there were tons of complaints on performance and life. (these are also the tires used by most police departments due to low bids. Go figure....
Toyo Proxes? (stock on 16" rims on the early models) lasted a bit longer and are decent tires. I had my set upwards of 25,000 miles but I drove them pretty hard.
For replacement, something with treadwear above 300.
This number isnt standard across all the brands but its a bit of guide.
