Lightbulb Thinking about Fly Eyes Light Film

I apologize for the light thread, I know there is many. I just couldn't find anything on this product. I've seen some Mazdas online with the VHT night shades red on their tail lights and it looks awesome. The only problem is it would make the reverse lights red also, unless you taped it off or cut into the vinyl. I saw on a thread someone said something about Fly Eyes. Anyways, I have been looking online and they say you can see the actual color lights through the vinyl. Has anyone had any experience with these? I'm hoping this works as I am looking for a cheaper, easy mod.

I looked up pictures on other cars. People say for head lights they are great. However I saw some red covers on the back and it just looked dull, as if someone painted it matte. DuoofDeath1 and FC3schick used lamin-x I think and theirs turned out really nice. The slit is starting to grow on me.

Yours looks really nice bonzman17. I'm still debating between them, I just want it to be glossy red like the reflector is in the tail light. How is pricing for fly eyes?

I saw they had the different shades of red. How much material would be needed to cover both tail lights completely anyone know?
