Default seal on retro-quik system from TRS

I'm installing the bi-xenon projectors from the retro-quik kit from TRS and I can't figure out how to seal the back of the headlights with the bulb, the new projects is so in-set from where the halogen was from the back that the old grommet won't make a seal to prevent water from getting in. any ideas?

yea no need to open the lights again they are just like the oem covers. you trim them to fit.
For the time being tape them up with some duct tape to keep dirt and moisture out.

i feel proud for being the reason they have those because when i did my retroquik they didn't have the correct size

i ended up using the ocytl rubber and it was thick enough and sticky enough to surround the connectors and not let air/water in

Yea, I will tape them up until some grommets show up.

I noticed when putting the bumper back on that I can probably remove the headlights without completely removing the bumper, I might try that next weekend.

This has not been the most "difficult" mod I have done, but it has certainly been the most time consuming to do.

What diameter did you use?

when i was requesting support from them, they only had like diameter 60mm(6 months ago), now they have up to 100mm

so i think our headlights require 100mm or 90 grommets? i'm not exactly sure

there is a small space left behind when using a straight-d2s to amp cable, and i filled this space with octyl rubber, its so ghetto that it worked

They have 75mm 90mm and 100mm, I might email TRS and ask if they know what fits.

I bought a pair of 75mm and it was a really tight fit, almost to small. I ended up just sealing it with aluminum tape and that was it, got a pretty good seal.
