Question HID 55w help.
Hi, I wasn't getting any responses in the "HID Thread" so I came here. Anybody know if I can run 4300k 55w hid headlights in my stock housing WITHOUT melting or frying anything? I need to know if I'll need relay harnesses. I'm thinking I should be fine without the harnesses as the stock bulbs themselves were 55w...

no. you will need the harness.
not a watts issue it's an amp draw issue.

most likely it's wired for 9006 but yes you can make it work.
