Go with the lip man...Our cars need help more in the Lip department, and the spoiler can always be added later if you think it still needs it...

I saw a 3 i with a spoiler at my Mazda dealer. Looked at the window sticker and it's an option. If you're planning to add a spoiler, you may want to look at a 3i at a dealer with the spoiler and compare it to the lip.

You may have to remove the speed limiter in your 3 before you can take advantage of the downforce (if there is any). My S Sport is limited to 117 mph.

My personal preference is the subdued spoiler on the sedan. Your preference may be different.

I prefer subtle wings, unless it's a really sporty car.

I think downforce is the least of your problems on a 3i when you're doing 100mph+, lol. There are more important issues, like how in the hell you're going to stop (the 3i's brakes are smaller, front and back).

I never even looked that far down to notice that. I was too damn focused on the wing!

Hahaha! The owner must be a skater since he put a 1/4 pipe on the back of his car. I wish I took a pic, but I saw a mid 90's toyota tercel with a wooden 2x4 as a spoiler! I thought he used it as a rack, but no, it was for looks!
