U can spray them a bit darker than what u would want and then hit them with some 2k grit sand paper (wet sand them) then get a good polish wax and buff the sh*t outta them and they will shine.

Just did it to ours with the red VHT Niteshade. Love the way it looks! Though it is kinda brutal to back up at night. especially with her 20% tint.

That does look nice. Very understated and classy. Is the finish pretty glossy?

Yes, after simply wiping the plastic clean and spraying it, they came out surprisingly glossy. Biggest thing is to make sure you have somewhere nice to paint them so debris doesn't stick to it as it's drying. I haven't bothered to do anything to it since it dried and it's still glossy after many carwashes. If you really want to make them shine though and look 100% show quality with not even a hint of orangepeel, I'd wetsand, then clearcoat, then wetsand again, and finally buff it to a mirror shine.

Yeah, sure. I'll get a picture up once it gets dark. Basically the reverse light lights up the whole lamp so part is red (which just looks like your other brake lights) and then bright white shines through the window.

Yeah it really depends on how you spray it though. I've seen people come out with very dull results because they sprayed in light coats. I tend to spray the tint pretty heavy so they come out glossy.

The colors contrast so well together. On the CWP, you put red on the taillights. What did you end up doing for the headlights? Just trying to figure out a sick color scheme!

Thanks!

i would like to add new photos of my mazda 3, july 13th 2012

and a video

i would also like to add that night shade is not as easy to spray as you might think . test it on several test peices first. i use clear plastic clam shells from take out food place or any clear plastic to test the color of the clear paint first. be extremely careful . i also dont trust vht night shade will last in texas heat and sun for more then a few years so i just used vinyl!

^Your car is looking so good! Did you do something to the tailights in these latest pics? They look darker around the edges than the first pictures you posted. Also, did you have to remove the lights to wrap them?

What front end is that on your car.

And I to am wondering what you did to get it darker around the edges in these new pics.
