Default Ebay LED 3rd Brake Light Kit
Just came across this on ebay:

09 10 11 MAZDA3 HB LED 3rd Brake Mazda 3 5D 2010 RED: eBay Motors (item 190416950334 end time Aug-10-10 03:38:23 PDT)

It says it's a plug and play LED strip for the 3rd brake light on the hatch '09, '10, '11. Also has for the sedan. Haven't looked closely at my housing, but just by the pics, does it look like it will fit? I'll look closely at my light when I get the chance to compare later.

It worries me a bit that it says 2009+. If it was legit, it should be 04-09 or 2010+

Well, if you think about it, our 2010 became available in 2009. And in Japan, this model (BL) year is 2009-

It fits perfectly & installation is pretty easy.




More picts ---> Taiwan made 3rd LED brake lamp



Sedan version is much more expensive than hatch version.

Ok, took the plunge and ordered off ebay, but feeling a little buyers remorse. Got an email from them saying something about possibly paying for customs? Hope not as with shipping this sucker was $77! Well can't do anything now. Will write back with a review and pics when I get it hopefully this week, but who knows with shipping to Hawaii. Wish me luck.
