Hey All Mazda 3 enthusiasts: I was debating for quite a while about buying a rear wing spoiler from Spoiler King (Spoiler and Wing King: Mazda 3 2010-2011 Factory Style Spoiler Painted) and plan on buying that industrial strength 3M tape and perhaps some bonding compound to mount the spoiler on the car. Since I am new to modding, I am fearful that if I attempt to drill the holes that I may mess up and end up with a trunk full of holes... ![]() I've been searching the forums and came across this thread: http://mazda3revolution.com/forums/2...7-spoiler.html But the rear lip spoiler was used and taped on just fine. Are there any rear wing spoiler people out there to help put my dilemma to rest? Thanks in advance!

it should hold just fine. i had the same wing installed with the best double side tape i could find and it never moved. but to be honest, i thought it was awesome untill i found this spoiler 2010 2011 Mazda 3 Factory Style Spoiler - Lip Style | eBay i think it looks better, it weights less, its sportier and easier to install. its also waaaay cheaper and double side tape would be enough to hold it in place. i have it on and its just great. its discrete but it gives the car the perfect finish here is how it looks on my car: ![]()

Thank you very much helruiz for your quick response and insights. You're right, the lip spoiler does give an already sweet car (yours looks awesome by the way When you put your spoiler on, did you have to "prep" the back of the trunk, or did you simply stick the spoiler down?
