Question Ok once again help again lol

Ok guys, So i finally installed my alpine amp to my single 12" sub, everything came out perfectly. but now i have another question.

My friend gave me a Phoenix Gold 2300XS amp which is around 300rms or so, i believe, anyway that amp is super super old, its literally right off the box, he's had it new for a long time with manual and everything. the specs are so old it barely lists anything on its own power. i want to use it to power the two rear door speakers which are smallish. now I'm scared its going to drain my car battery while its off since that amp technology is so damn old. i don't want to ruin my cars electrical, I've had a honda with shitty electrical and thats not cool.

also if the answer is yes, i can use it, would i be able to run the same wire I'm feeding the +12v battery to the first amp, meaning can i split it? or do ineed a second wire to the battery. the amp has terminals for its own remote, ground and positive id only share the positive, not the ground nor the remote. any ideas on wiring this two?

thanks guys, you've always helped me out and now i have the setup I've always wanted. this forum is without doubt one of my most visited.

you can split it, but it also depends on how thick the gauge of the wire. if you're running at least 4 gauge, you should be fine. Just get a distributor block for the wires with built in fuse holder. Also, don't share the ground, make sure to use a separate grounding spot in your car.
