Default Those of you that have an aftermarket amp in a hatch...

Where did you guys ground to? I've taken a few minutes to take a quick search of the hatch area but didn't really see a great grounding point other than possibly using the spare tire bolt's spot with a shorter bolt and washer. And still to me that seems kinda sketchy.

Anyone else know of a good spot in the hatch area? Or did you just end up drilling a new hole?

I don't have a hatch but I can tell you what grounding points I have used that work for me.

a. bolt behind seat
b. added a bolt in one of the holes by the rear wheel well.
c. one of the bolts on the trunk latch.

As long as you wire brush the paint layer from what ever area you use and connect it to the frame it should work perfectly.
I put a coat of silicone glue on top of everything to prevent rusting.

After looking it over again and reading through Dereks audio build I think I'm going to go with the anchor bolt behind the seat. Thanks guys.
