So Friday I took my new Mazda in to get the satellite radio components installed. I took it in earlier than my appointment so they wouldn't rush and do a poor job. Well when they removed the AC they put a few dings and scratches on my dash, and also the antenna is a few inches off on where they placed it on the trunk, it's not centered. I know it seems like I'm complaining, but it's my first car... So is there anything I can do to have them take care of what they did wrong to my vehicle? | |||||||||||||||||

Tell them about it and have them fix the issue. I had the service department replace the map light and the tech scratched the thing all to hell putting it in. I complained to my service writer and had them replace the unit.

| hahaha just let the adviser know how disappointed you are, you might get a free oil change or something haha no need to get yelling at them. It's not going to do much and they might just screw something else up haha It's not a bad idea to get to know the service adviser and the tech. I have a service adviser and a tech that works on my car. They've done the work on my car since my first oil change there so the tech knows me now haha

There may be a reason the satellite antenna is off of center. It is set off center on the Cx-9 and Mazda5 from factory.

OH yeah,take it back and have them fix for sure;every time i take any of my cars to the dealer for anything i wash the cars clean them up,so that way they can assume i am a picky costumer, and i am,i look at it this way; i work hard to get what i have and i like to keep it as nice as possible.my self being a auto tech i hold them to a higher standard for service of my car.
