 A part fell off my car today
I was pulling into the driveway in my wife's 2 when I noticed a part hanging off the bottom of my 2011 3 HB. I got under there to check it out and found that it's a piece of plastic about a foot long and about 1.5 inches tall. It is slightly in front of my rear wheels and runs across the bottom of the car. There's two; one on the left right, one on the right. They are held on by two white plastic nuts. The one that was hanging off was on the right side. It was missing one of the cheap plastic nuts. I'm struggling to figure out what it's purpose is. It wasn't covering anything, and the part number on it seems unrecognizable to my usual parts people. The number written on it is BP4K 56 58X. There's also an RH below that. Anyone have an idea what this part is?      | |||||||||||||||||

Yeah mine fell off the first week I got my car. It really has no purpose even though Mazda says it does.

Yea one of the nuts came off on mine. Started hitting the bottom of the car. The dealer replaced the nut and all is well. Don't know how it came off though haha Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using AutoGuide.Com Free App | ||||||||||||||||||

it's a useless piece of plastic honestly. They are junk and not even worth the time to put them back on. The nuts fall off beause they are made out of cheap plastic and highway winds have a stronger force then them holding on. I know exactly what your talking about man, it isn't even worth jacking the car up to put them back on | |||||||||||||||||
