bought myself a pair of Goodyear one piece wipers @ Costco last weekend... They were buy one get one free for $8... I love the Bosch wipers but it was too good of a deal to pass on...

need some wipers and was just gonna search for this topic and its right on top haha

guess i'll give the blades from costco a shot.. i was just gonna get refill from the dealer but... i like the look of the frame-less blades haha

funny thing though, when i was trying to get some for my my dads odyssey. The honda parts guy said a lot of people go back to the old style one with the metal frame. He says they get a lot of complaints about the frameless not wiping properly. I do want to give them a try though.

Rain X lasts six months plus on my car making it's high cost worth it. Traditional wipers last a few months for me. Others are reporting Rain X lasting up to a year. I park outside and replace them when they start to streak.

Bosch Icon, or if you come across them, the Valeo equivalent of the icons are decent.

I've had both on the PT, and swapped the icons onto my 3 the first week I had it.

And don't forget to Rain-x as well, huge improvement in the rain.

I think you'll be happy, I've had a good experience with the Bosch Icons and just replaced them with the RainX Latitudes on my P5 and replaced the OEM blades on the 3 last week with some Duralast Flex blades. They were worth a shot at 'buy one, get one 50% off'. So far so good, meaning the wife loves them but the verdict is still out.

Of course the parts guy will say that, he wants to make money. I've had no issues with the frameless not wiping properly and can say that I WON'T buy metal frames again!

I bought some ANCO wiper blades from WalMart last night to replace the original blades I've had on for over 2 years (they were the cheapest ones, but i figured they would have to last a few months each since the company has been aroudn forever). The ANCOs are the biggest chattering pieces of shit I've ever used. Do not buy these. They bounce and rattle like i have never seen anything do before.

I may just pony up and try the one piece.

Before going to WalMart, I went to 5 different auto parts stores in north Austin looking for wiper refills, but not one sold any refills that can just be inserted into the original frames - too bad cause I really liked the original ones.
