Default Can anybody recommend good aftermarket windshield wipers?

I'm not a fan of the stock windshield wipers. They seem flimsy and cheap, and don't do a very good job of actually clearing the windshield without leaving streaks. Does anybody know/recommend a good aftermarket brand? I've looked at one called Valeo but am wondering if people here have first hand experience...?

I've had good experiences with Bosch and RainX. There's a Consumer Reports review if you have access to them. I cancelled my online Consumer Reports subscription.

When you say inserts, do you mean they only replace the rubber in your stock blades? I looked at PIAA's website and didn't see any blades that at least technically fit on the 2010 Mazda 3.

The valeo brand is a very good brand........the trend now is the new one piece wiper that is rated high in wiping coverage..........it has no metal hinges......looks like one single piece...........

I agree...rainx and bosch are pretty bomb..There are also some aftermarket companies that make some aggressive-looking ones, that suit the racer-look, but be careful not to over do it with the cheesy ricer wipers form pepboys...Those PIAA inserts are also really awesome. I can vouch for that...as I have a pair right now..smooth like butta.

Do you think they can make them thicker so you can see them from 2 miles away, not just 1 mile!
