As a potential 3 owner (who at this point will be getting a 5 door in the spring) I read through the "what I don't like" and "I wish my 3 had" threads. I noticed a lot of discussion concerning the fact that only the driver's window is "one touch", and that opening and closing of the glass can't be done with the remote. I've had a Mini for a few years, and Minis don't have one touch glass except driver's window going down (which is odd seeing as it's a BMW built in the UK, and all BMWs have these features). A few years ago a Mini owner developed an add-on module to correct this, and sold a ton of them: MotoringFile Archive The Ian Cull Auto-Up Circuit Reviewed I have one of these, and it's awesome. Mine also controls my fog/driving beams and my garage door. Ian eventually sold the project. Ians GBMINI website Auto-up Windows So I thought, doesn't someone make a similar board for Mazdas? Well, not that I found, but I did find a company that makes something for Nissan/Honda/Dodge/(and of course) Minis. KP Technologies I contacted KP Technologies and asked them to look into making one for the new 3. I also directed them to the forum so they could directly determine interest in expanding their line. Perhaps if other members of the forum would email them, they would take a closer look for us. They're outside of Dayton in Beaver Creek, so maybe someone in southwest Ohio could let them take a look at their car to get started. Hopefully they will be interested, and there will be enough members interested to make it viable for them.

I might be interested in something like this depending on: cost, ease of install, and OEM look.

I noticed Taiwan is also only a one touch control for the driver's window. Not sure all those missing functions are related to the design or market of LHD & RHD version. Taiwan is LHD and its M3's series are pretty similar to those in US such as 1.6, 2.0 & 2.5, MT & AT, HID, AFS, same front grille and rear spoiler etc. whereas HKG only got 1.5, 2.0, AT only.

Can you raise and/or lower the windows with the key in the drivers door key cylinder? Does anyone have any wiring diagrams for the '10 3?

I'm assuming you are the previously mentioned "KP?"

I don't believe you can do it on the 3 (I think it's limited to the 6). The KPtechnologies units interface with the key cylinder to control the windows - if you can't control the windows with the key cylinder the KPtech module won't work. And, yes, I am apart of KPtechnologies!
