Hello Everyone, This is my first post and I needed some help. I just purchased on Amazon.com two Mufflers for my 2010 Mazda 3 Sport S. I wanted to get good beefy, not annoying sound so i purchased Magnaflow muffers but I don't know if they'll fit. I tired to do research before buying but i'm not a "mechanical" guy by any length and don't really understand the pipe length stuff so i Just purchased mufflers and stayed away from whole exhaust. Can someone please tell me if these will fit? will i just need to take them to a muffler shop and have them put it on? After they are put on, i'll post up a video of them. I can't help you with your questions, but what I do know is that it will not fit the 2010 3i models. They have a single exhaust tip that has a bent pipe dorm the muffler, which is nothing like the picture you posted. Sorry I can't be of further assistance, but I'm sure someone will chime in

I'm not sure if there's enough space to have mufflers that big right at the exhaust tips. I know GP Sport has theirs setup like this for the MS3 but theirs are tiny barrel-can types. They don't have the 2.5L Mz3 with dual exhaust in Asia so this picture is probably the closest bet you'll have to visualizing the space (or you can duck under your car as well with some measuring tape).

okay, well i just canceled the transaction. It was going to be going $220 plus guessing $100 for install. Should i just go get a custom exhuast done from a muffler shop? and would it cost around $320 or so? I appreicate everyone's feedback. i'm a NOOB at this stuff.

I think you might get a great deal getting a custom made muffler at a shop, though you may or may not walk away with a sound you like- that's probably a better part of the gamble. People buy ones that have been designed and tested on our platform with videos to gauge how the sound is, both in and out of car, to see if it's something they could live with. I guess I could say- Cost, Sound, Performance - choose two, most likely one though. And sound is always a subjective thing as well.

Thanks for the feedback. I did set a appt with a muffler shop on Thursday and he said that he'll do it for $125 each muffler installed so that's not bad at all. He said that he uses Flowmaster (not sure how they are or how they compete with Magnaflow). i'll post up a video when i get them put on. Zoom Zoom (btw- this is my ride - so far)

There's a couple vids on youtube of Mazda 3's with various Flowmasters. I typically think of big American trucks and other domestics when I think of Flowmaster. Anyway-

I think Flowmaster works best on American cars. I had a Flowmaster muffler on my V6 Camry and it just didn't sound right for the car. I would suggest saving a bit more for an exhaust system made for your car.
