Default vibration noise heat shield?

Just got off work and thought i would drive the crap out of my car on the way home getting excited about new sway bar and exhaust thats coming soon..
Anyways when i hit around 4000 rpms i hear this rattling noise, sounds like passenger side under the hood,, take it up to 5000 and it goes away under 4000 goes away in every gear any takers on what it could be i pulled in to the gas station pulled on the shield around the alternator still makes it. 2010 mazda3 gt

Hard to say. But it does remind me of a similar noise I had, under similar conditions. Turns out it was a wiring that was not affixed to the car properly bouncing around in there.

I will get in there and see what i can find them noises drive me nuts! The squeaky drivers seat has made me crazy also... only noise I want to hear is my exhaust and my radio.

fixed it , it was the thin heat shield on the fire wall

Right on. The squeaky driver's seat might go away eventually. Mine has disappeared, knock on wood. But I get other squeaks and rattles now, so no biggie
