I wouldnt use engine enamel paint but I would suggest a rim primer and paint from duplicolor

Start off with plasti dip and see if you like it the color you want. Is it stock rims or aftermarket? If stock I'd suggest painting them yourself.

If your in humid weather then maybe but honestly no. Duplicolor is real good so if you spray correctly then it comes out real nice!

| YES the weather definitely effects the way your paint finish comes out....if its to cold or to much moisture in the air and even the other side of the spectrum if its too hot and your painting in direct sunlight... the moisture in the air gets trapped in the drying paint and makes it look cloudy and especially with the clear coat..... the directions on the can will tell you the best temperature and humidity to spray. I know this cuz I have sprayed 3 sets of oem rims from my friends cars...two from the 06-09 civic si and one set from a genesis coupe......I used the duplicolor paint on all three and the second set I had trouble with how they came out....I just sanded them back down and started over and they came out perfect. this pic was the most recent ones i did for my friends car. sorry they are honda wheels but same process for any set of wheels
