Yes, direct from the instructions you need light lever # BBM4 66 122, and will also need a new wiper lever # 4 S D BBM3 66 128, then the fog kit. Any dealer online or local can get you what you need.

hey guys, so i tried putting in my fog lights today and the fog light housing that i have is to small to fit on my bumper.... i dont get it.

i have BCD2-50-11 which is the finned cover like mike has in his first post.

my car originally comes with the fog light cover with the diamonds on it..

does anyone know what part number i would need? i spoke to a Mazda dealership and he said there is about 5 different fog light covers. the only alternate part number on the instructions are BBP8-50-C11 and my dealer said that number doesn't come up for him. keeping in mind i have a Canadian car, and an American fog light kit.

any help is greatly appreciated thanks guys!

So you have the 'newer' cover car, but you ended up with the earlier finned kit? I would guess that the actual fog lights are the same, just all the trim is different? Can you not install the lights themselves without the finned trim?

My 3 is the same as yours, diamond patterned covers and they stay on the car, you just remove the fog light panel and replace with the new silver trim on the outside and the actual fog light on the inside.

Here is what my kit looked like....

This is the only piece that you remove from your car....

Then the silver trim installs from the front and the fog light from the rear and you are done.

also did you need to replace your windshield wiper switch, along with the combination head light switch with auto light feature?

on the inside of the bumper does the fog light sit flush against the bumper or is there a gap?

Partsformymazda, $231 without the switch, you only need the replacement wiper switch if your 3 already has factory auto lights.

No gap, the light should be pretty flush up to the silver trim within a few mm.

i dont see why the wiper switch needs to be switched out along with a new signal combination switch just because it has auto lights

After 11/09 = diamond patterned covers. My pics above.

Before 11/09 = covers with the bars across.
