I brushed on the paint in 3 coats.

Did you do it? I am doing my calipers right now.
Just did the primer, abt to paint yellow and tmw paint the rims black. Will look sick.
I have a black MZ3

Edit:
Here is a pic of my 2nd coat.
Did a light coat, now a medium wet coat and after 30 minutes check and see if needs a 3rd light coat.
I know, the newspaper got off when I was spraying and it sprayed on the brake, I will use a fine sandpaper or some solvent to remove it tomorrow.

PS: My wife is doing all the spray, she is much better than me doing it. lol
Next will do her Versa with purple for the Ravens. lol

In theory, you can use whatever base coat you want if you follow it up with a good amount of high heat clear. I just brushed high heat paint straight onto the caliper. Didnt prime or clear and it hold up ok. I do another coat every 6 months to keep it looking good.

Thanks!
I used dupli color to paint it. I need to retouch again all 4 wheels.
I really like the black and yellow, everyone has red and looks at my wheels rolling. lol
I will post a video of how they look like.
