Default Help with rear camber adjustment

Ok so i have a 2012 Skyactiv hatch and lowered it with RM 1.75 in the rear and Eibach Sportlines in the front to make up for the .5" difference due to the lighter engine (2.2 - .5 = 1.7" drop up front)... my problem is that i have serious rear camber in the back, i have the Eibach/SPC adjustable arms installed but when i took the car to get aligned the dude doing the work said he didn't see how he would be able to adjust the rear without taking the tires off and eyeballing it since the adjustment bolts are at a hard to reach space... has anyone had this problem or was the guy just being lazy and should i try a different alignment shop. Also if anyone is from NY specifically the Bronx or Yonkers area could you recommend a shop.

Or how hard would it be to remove the tire and "eyeball" the rear camber myself...

i had to do the same thing. i had them check it on the machine and tell me how far off it was from being aligned correctly then i went home and took the tires off then brought it out to where i thought it should be. i found 2 points of reference on the arms so i could have the same length on both sides. then i brought it back in to have it checked and it was all good

I have the same adjustable arms...yes they are quite hard to reach but not impossible. Mine was aligned twice without the need of removing the wheels. Take your car to another shop and don't let a lazzy fatty guy going under it...

Good luck!

Take it to another shop...it can be done with the tires on and a jack...it can be a pita so most basic shops will say they can't do it...

Tell your mechanic he needs a set stubby wrench. It still takes longer than normal but very possible.
