Default Any lowering springs made for the 2010 yet?

I'd like to get rid of some of the ugly wheel gap of my car. Any word on an officially made 2010 kit? I know some older ones might work but with issues of camber etc.

I'm here everyday, and I've not heard of anything yet. Most people will suggest to try something from the 04-09 version. And most will try to get you to be the adventurous one!

So... give it a try... you know you want to... lower it and show some pics...

LOL

I'd rather have something designed to work for our car rather than retrofitting a part thats meant for a last gen. The suspension is a critical part of the car that i cant have messed up.

I agree 100% with you! When it comes to my car, I don't take risks. It is too big of an investment!

Overall weight is practically the same between 1st gen and 2nd gen. The chassis is very much the same as well, other than some stiffening and mount point changes. 1st gen springs have been put in at lest four or five 2010's that I know about with absolutely no problems. Any camber issues with lowering are the result of how much the car is lowered and have nothing to do with the springs being for a 1st gen. I'm not telling you to do it, but I don't want to hear any crying about wheel gap when there a solution staring you in the face

I guess i should get the H & R springs...maybe in like 2 weeks ill do that and rent a compressor from autozone and then get the car aligned. Im starting a new job next week so i wanna make sure things are going good before i start spending like mad. (Tints this week, hopefully) I was just hoping it would say for sure to be for the 2010's.

I emailed racing beat last month and this was the response i got....I'm waiting patiently

Jack,

We've starting work on the development of springs for the new application, samples of the new springs have been sent to Japan. Sway bars will be next. Demand so far has been slow for bars for the new model, we usually see things pickup after the cars have been on the market after the first year.

Best regards,

Jim Langer

Hmm maybe i should just wait? It does seem that companies are making springs for this new car because it is heavier than the last gens. I'm in no rush, but if there will be no difference I done see needing to wait either.

There might be a very slight difference in spring rates, but the diameter and other things should remain the same. If it really makes you uncomfortable, then just wait.
