Default [Cross-drilled/Slotted Rotors] Better than stock?

I've been itching to get some new rotors because, well, I wanted to do something to improve my car. I was thinking about getting new rotors when the time comes to get new pads and I want to know what are y'all's (I'm a Texan) thoughts on cross-drilled or slotted rotors?

I've heard the stories before (i.e. they warp faster and what not) but I think if I purchase a good set from a reputable company (i.e. Stoptech) it would probably be a wise investment, no?

Research it. It will warp faster if you do not get the right match rotors to the pads and vice versa... IMO, our rotors are pretty durable... I say if you want to do something to improve your car, improve the handling and leave the rotors alone till they really need replacing... Just my opinion... Good luck...

+1. Swapping out rotors is an expensive way to gain very little performance in the real world.

Agreed.
On a stock car you really don't need anything more than stock rotors.
I mean if you were upgrading the rotors, might as well upgrade the calipers all around and you'd probably still go with blanks.
Just my opinion though.

Just get some good pads when your stockers are done. The stock rotors are fine.
