A les Schwab in my area has offered me the continental extreme contact dws for about $706. Good or bad deal?

205/50/17, ended up ordering from tire rack and found a well reviewed place that will instal for $40 less. I am satisfied with that. Thanks for the help all.

Default stock size vs 225
Why are folks saying stick with stock size??
205 50 on stock 17 and was thinking that if I got the contDWS in 225 45 I would end up with about the same clearance in the wheel well and would have better traction with a wider tire.
