Stock Amp question

At first i thought that the 10 speaker bose system would kick pretty hard with bass but come to find out the "sub" above the spare tire is simply a 6 inch speaker. The amp, as i read from other threads, i found under the passenger seat all bolted in. Would it be possible to run that to another amp to power an after market sub. I started building a custom shallow mount sub box for the back corner of the hatch and just want to know if i can string off of that amp (seeing as it would be the least amount of wiring). Anyone done this or know if its possible. Thanks in advance for the replies.

I want to either use those same wires and run to a new amp and sub or if i can leave that amp and sub in altogether and just run it to another amp as well, so that I can still have the original 10 speaker system but with a sub as #11.
