Down pipe question

Right now I have a 3" Cobb CBE with a 3" UR test pipe with the stock down pipe. My question is (for anyone who has done this) I am looking at buying the UR catted (metal substrate cat) down pipe. Has anyone noticed an improvement installing the down pipe after having all the other mods already done (see sig for mods). The down pipe would be the last piece that would make it fully bolted. Thanks!

Cobb shifter weight, CBE,RSB,knob Corksport SRI, TIP, BPV, Boost tubes,70 Duro RMM & TMM inserts, EX hangers, Hypertech tune, CP-E TMIC, Autotech internals. JBR Coolant bypass,Intake gasket, bypass hose, air filter UR test pipe & catted DP. Konig wheels.

Down pipe question

If you're on the stock turbo, then the improvement will be small. You've already freed up the exhaust enough to max out the stock turbo by removing the 2nd cat on the test pipe. I'd say you'd have a gain of around 10hp max. If I read your sig right, you still have the stock intercooler. I'd look at an upgraded TMIC before the downpipe. I think getting your boost air temps down would be more beneficial at this point.

You could get an e-tune which is really worth it. I'm getting tuned by Nishan currently and it makes a very noticeable difference though you'll need an accessport. Also I heard that you see pretty good gains with the 3" intake/tip combo over the 2.5 one from cs. I only found that out recently so the idea of rebuying the intake is :/

Second on the tune. It really helped and Freektune was excellent.
