Why not something like a Short shift plate, counterweight, and solid shifter bushings? unless you already have them or are just looking for big performance mods.

I will agree with Tinker on that one. That is another valid option. Depends on what he wants the car to be. Both will help performance but depends on if you want to look low and then how low. I would go either SSP setup or RSB personally. The problem with the SSP is it doesn't matter how fast you make the shift, the car isn't going to let you shift completely freely. The snychros in the transmission still run the show but the shorter and more solid shifts are nice.

I like the tmic but I can't find one for 300 I have looked at the ems I think for like 600
And I like the meth but I can't fine a kit for 300 I was looking at devils own
