Here is how I solved the "floppiness" of the intake.....
1/4" thick, 5/8" wide piece of aluminum bolted to the hose clamps, works like a charm. Intake is way more stable now.

I didn't cut the recirc hose, just slid it on further.

MazdaSpeed is not going to be making any MazdaSpeed parts for any 2010 model year cars.

Hmmm...Interesting.

Seeing as how modifying the Speed is fairly common I'm wondering why they chose not to issue MazdaSpeed "factory autohorized" part for Gen2.

Are they implying that the parts from Gen1 will work with Gen2?

Or is this a way for them to sort of "shrug off" any responsibility for warranty work on modified vehicles? After all, if it's not MazdaSpeed branded it's can't possibly be covered under warranty (nevermind that Mazda sources their MazdaSpeed parts from thrid party manufacturers).

Seems odd to me as well. Considering they already have a number of the parts available. I dont see the logic in it. Unless like you said, underwriting has something to do with it. The dealership where I picked my speed up at did say that their prices on the warranties just jumped. They could have been lying, but I wasnít interested in them so they didnít have an incentive. Anecdotal for sure, but may have something to do with this. I wonder what the SOP is going to be if you want to put '09 speed parts on the car. My dealership gave me a mazdaspeed oil cap that by the above logic could have only been for an '09. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

2010 cork sport ms3 sri or injen cai?

Cant decide which intake to get, both get high gains. Has anybody tried one, or both? Would like to know on any little experiences pros/cons on each preferably from people who already have the parts before I pull the trigger. Also has anybody with them installed had any issues with dealers? I have free oil changes from them so dont want them going crazy about the parts.

i'd like to add some differences in the intakes / inlets.

Corksport SRI/TIP is a "hard pipe" whereas most others are silicone. their sri tip combo relocates the breather tube onto the tip. this configuration is standard when ordering the combo. if you don't specify.
utilizes AEM DRI-FLO filter

im new to the MS3 so dont mind me if this question sounds retarded, but where does the breather tube go to on the stock pieces? i havent really examined under the hood yet since it has been all of 25 degrees here. im just curious because i am going to be ordering this soon.

The breather tube attaches to the ribbed, curved hose of the intake that connects to the MAF. It is a very stiff connection from the top of the valvecover near the turbo.

So when I order the sri and tip am I going to have to order another hose since its relocated? Or is there enough slack in the hose to fit.

The Corksport SRI/TIP combination includes hose and clamps to replace your stock valve cover breather.
