Default Ultimate Racing Axle Back Installed! :)
LOVE IT. VERY quiet though, expected it to sound like the one on youtube, then I realized they probably had down pipe, no cats and full cat-back to get that sound, still sounds 100% better though...just might keep my test pipe installed now!

Pics and video later. LOOKS sexy as HELL though!

subbed for pics and video. Congrats on the install. I know that there isn't much power to be had at peak, but UR's site shows that from about 2600-3700 RPMs, there is a notable gain, up to 10hp at 3150 RPMs. Did you notice a difference in that power range? I figured that the catback may not be worthless to me if it picks up power at the engine speeds that I drive in the most. Not to mention that it would look and sound much better too.

Please tell me you got the rolled tips. The single-wall tips look terrible, imo. The "titanium" tips are even worse.

Nah, I hate the stock rolled look, so I got straight wall, it looks a lot meaner that way. And yes, its a lot smoother on power delivery at low to mid range, and smoother on acceleration. Also seems to be less vibration of piping (test pipe rattles) when I put it on...and on start-up it used to surge for a second on start-up but now it fires quick and smooth. LOVE IT!

Nice. I'm glad to hear that. UR is the top one on my list for a catback right now, but CorkSport sent me an e-mail today that said their CB would be ready to ship out on June 15th, and I'm waiting on some specs on that before I pull the trigger. UR seems to have made an awesome CB option though.

I have to agree with you here that the rolled tips look cheap, they look like something you can buy at advance auto and just slip over the end of any exhaust. Now if only i could figure out a way to put on a single exit exhaust and not have an extra hole in the bumper

I'm with Derrick on this one. The rolled tip looks alot better than the single wall.

Although a dual wall tip would look even better.

The stock rolled tips to look cheap, because they are slip over pieces. The rolled tips from UR are actual rolled tip units and look 100x better.

How about Corsa tips...mmm
