Sounds like you have a good plan in mind. 375 is definitely doable reliably on a stock block, so long as the torque curve is kept in check.

Thanks! We managed to squeeze 40hp out of a 2016 2.0L and still got 40+mpg, so I definitely see the Speed 3 responding favorably with good planning. I`ll probably do another build diary/tune chronicle thread for it, but I can`t say it`ll go as quickly as the last one LOL. The Speed 3 costs a lot more to modify!!

The `16 or the Speed? The Speed wasn`t bone stock when I got it, but we did get a stock whp figure for the `16 of 130 and some change.

So, the Speed saga continues. Been very, very happy with it so far. Did all the things, had it tuned, etc and so on. Tomorrow the new turbo shows up. I`m going to try and install it this weekend if I get a base tune map for it in time. For those who may be familiar, I went with the BNR S4v2, which is a fairly meaty turbo. HP goals aren`t really much more than I have now, for the time being. Sure, we`ll get another 40hp out of it on the hardware on hand, but really just trying to establish a safe and efficient power band, and put the torque curve where it needs to be in order to keep the rods happy. I`ll add methanol injection in a couple of months and go for 425hp/385tq (already making that torque number). Hopefully over the summer I can get a set of rods and pistons for it and we`ll try and crack 450hp before jumping into true aux fueling solutions. Pretty sure if I can get the fuel into it we can do a safe and drivable 465hp.
