Default Raceland coilovers for MS3

Just ordered a set plus the longer bolts for the lower shock mounts to make these a perfect fit on my MS3. I'll post some install pics and a review once installed. Most likely either next Satuday or the weekend after that. So far the company appears top notch. I ordered the coilovers last night but I typo'd my email address. I called this morning to correct it and they answered on the first ring and pulled my info up in about one second. The coilovers are shipping today. So far I'm impressed. Customer service counts. Teaser pics till the real ones are up.

Note: I had noise issues when I first installed these and hated them. Read post #55 for the reason they were making noise.

FINAL EDIT: THE NOISE ISSUES CAME BACK. I TRIED EVERYTHING AND COULDN'T RESOLVE IT. THE RACELAND HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM MY CAR. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. PERIOD.

Me too...I called them to change my delivery to 'signature required' and left a message (it was too early...they're in Utah) and they called me back a few mins after and left a voicemail saying everything has been taken care of and they're on their way. I'm feeling optimisitc about this kit.

According to their website the spring rates are the same for both MS3 and MZ3. BC only offers one option for both models too. I'm not looking for really stiff coilovers for autox so softer spring rates appeal to me. Hoping these fit the bill for a daily driver. I haven't torn my car apart to do a decent mod in six months. Looking forward to getting my hands dirty with this install. My goal is to have a stance like the I-MOTO MS3 in my signature. That's why the pic is in my sig so I'm reminded daily that this is what I need to do. LOL

Any clue to the fender height and tire height of their car?

Nah, I'll just keep playing with the height till it looks right. Real world has train tracks, potholes, and steep driveways so I gotta see how it works out. I'll get close.

Intall was somewhat a PITA hardest part was getting struts in/out. Other than that it was a good time and a learning experience. Hope you don't have too much trouble. If you get too mad take a break before you hurt your car. Don't need another window broken....

Struts were removed once already when I installed the Swift springs. I found the scissor jack method works best for the front struts. This is probably the seventh or eighth install I've done so if I don't have my act together by now I shouldn't be modding.

Definitely interested to hear what you think of these. Looking forward to seeing pics as well.

It's been at least six months since I've wrenched on mine too....
