Default Gen1 & Gen2 Seats, are they the same?!??

Quick question to you guys & gals, do you happen to know if the seats from gen1 & gen2 are the same?!?? I was about to get some leather covers and the shop have pics from gen1. They told me that they are the same... just want to get some opinions from you guys... thanks in advance...

The aftermarket leather "seat covers" are likely same (only assuming), but the seats themselves are definitely not the same.

they said it is a perfect fit for the MZ3, the shop I was talking to said they have the same seats, the gen1 & gen2... If they arent exactly the same, from what you said, then they wont be "perfect" fit for the new gen. thanks for the reply.
