the color used for the "grill bar" is very close to the color of my car,which is Graphite Mica. From a distace they appear to be the same color.

Did anybody get the factory front mask. The picture on mymazda.com looks like it covers the smile.

yeah chrome would not be ok! the body colored trim is a solid idea though i also was thinking flat black to make it blend in more that the dark gray color it is now. but thin it will just have this gaping maw up front. im not a fan of that trim really anyway they should have ditched that and just had the mouth be all mesh. that would look good.

i thought about painting the top half of the front grill body color, it'd be great if you guys can give some advice or leave some feedback as to how it looks. i included a pic here...its not photoshop quality but i tried my best
