So, I was out with one of my ole friends saturday (first time he saw my 3). So, to "impress" him, I floored it

When I floored it, it made a horrible sound, and a terrible vibration in the throttle. So, I pull over and check it. My intake had to be adjusted (had not checked it for a few weeks), but I had no tools with me in the car. The filter on my Injen SRI hit the fuse box pretty hard and had a really nice dent in it

. Anyways, I got home and adjusted it, and took it for a spin. Now, it was making a really weird squeaking noise

So, once again I opened the hood, and BAAM! There it was, the cable that goes from inside the car to release the hood had somehow moved or something because I had never seen it before during installation of the intake. Why did I not notice it before!? I have no idea! Anyways, somehow my intake was rubbing upon the cable causing it to squeak pretty nicely! I got handy with some electrical tape, and managed to prop it away where it don't squeak or rub. But, now I have a lot of tension on the darn cable (hard to pull).
I know what you are thinking, the cable moved from original location, but truth is that it was in its "original" clips. To further the issue more, my girlfriend lost my camera, so I can't take any pictures and show you guys
Any advice on how to fix it properly??
Any advice would help,
Thanks.
