Got it as soon as CS came out with it, loved the sound. Sounds good with my exhaust but I don't like how it sounds like its having trouble going up the hill, just rumbles all weird but is fine if I down shift.

I would take you up on it, but my intake currently has a death grip on my MAF sensor. Trying to figure out how to get a screw off it.

It flows great at 5000+ RPM. But look at the torque curves between stock and the CS intake. Torque is higher across the board for the stock intake, that is, until the CS intake hits peak numbers near 5000 rpm.

Although, It really did smooth out the shifts and the car is not as jumpy at low speeds.

Shouldnt have to hit 5k to see difference, kinda defeats the purpose if the claim is better mpg and power if you got to use full throttle all the time. But for less than 200, its not bad i guess...

You're right, I was reading the Dyno sheet wrong. The dyno conditions are fairly ideal at right around 60 degrees. Engine bay is likely open with a high power fan blowing fresh, cold air in there. It is under these conditions you would see good gains. I would be very curious to see what the dyno shows between stock and CS when the temps get up into the 90s.

Intake will probably be awesome when fall and winter roll around. In the meantime, I would love to have a cold air box made specifically for this car. If there's a possibility of this in the near future, I'll keep the intake in there.

cold air box doesnt have much science to it. just cover the filter while leaving breathing room.

By breathing room I meant dont corner the opening where air flow isnt really there naturally.

FYI, air temperature will only be as cool as ambient.

If anyone is on a budget like I am stingyly, plan it out, draw it, cut to shape. You never know, it just might work awesome.
