hey, question for your expertise... Since installing my new primary 02, it seems my ecu is cutting fuel like hell from the FIC when going into boost.. even with my 600cc injectors, and setting it at +70% duty cycle the ecu still can pull enough fuel to bring the afrs up to like 13.8.. that's at like 2psi, haven't gone higher in psi range because the afr's already.. how can I get around this... probably gonna call tripoint tomorrow ask how they managed around it.. but wanted your insight aswell if you care to share

Maybe a fuel pump upgrade will solve this? How sure are you that it is the ECU?

because it wasn't doing it when I had my dead 02 sensor in the car.. it was just open loop all the time which let me control fuel completely.. but also SUCKS because the weather changed my tune !

| It wasn't an open loop all the time it was in default mode. Which made it run on a fixed map and let you get away with trimming fuel. The W RAF cannot be fooled by the Piggyback last time I checked because it's not voltage related but current.

ahh.. I'll figure a way around it. stil think it's crazy the ecu can adjust for 70% more fuel then stock pulse.. wth!

Find out what resistance that O2 sensor normally puts for a good reading and put an inline resistor. Bypass the sensor completely. Temporary fix till u get the actual problem solved.

If you really want to run a tunable set up you are going to have to run a stand alone in parallel set up. Trouble with this is you lose dbw, abs, and traction control

I got around it, Just added more fuel then the ecu could cut, eventually I overrid the ecu.. with +80-90%.. good solid 12.0 afrs in boost now.. I'm surprised, i'm can keep up with my buddies speed 6 he only gets about car length on me.. until 5th gear he wins

Besides, WTF would you want to run an a/f of 12:1 on a turbo?! Last edited by Dynotronics1; 07-06-2012 at 06:22 PM.
