Door panel rattle

So I got my 2013 I tour back in December and I love the car but sometimes the driver door panel rattles something fierce either hitting a big bump in the road or turning the radio up pretty loud on rap. Its like a buzzing/rattle sound kinda hard to explain. I have taken it to the dealer once and was able to replicate the issue so they said they took the panel off and tightened up the window motor and stuff like that but alas it still does it. Now for the stranger part when its happening which isnt all the time I can crack the window ever so slightly I mean just bumping the button and it stops but then I have wind noise. Im at a loss as to whats causing this. Has anyone else had this problem? Also when im cornering hard and what not I have some creeking around the radio which isnt that annoying. Are these sounds normal for a 3? Anyone else have these problems?

Also I may have put this in the wrong place on the forum... sorry..

same issue here...i actually thought my speaker was blown at first cause it's only on the driver's side door and only with music having a lot of bass. I've been doing the same thing by cracking the window open to get rid of the rattle. If you look closely as you close and open the window, you can actually see the door panel flex in and out pretty good. (I've gotten so good at it that I can just tap the window down button without opening the window and have no rattle..lol)

Yep sounds like you are experiencing the same thing I was. I think the seals are so tight is flexes the panel in too far with the window rolled up.

I am currently having the same issue with my Mazda 3. When I took it in, they couldn't replicate the noise. It is annoying and when I crack the window, the noise stops.

I have the same issue, it seems like the window itself is able to move around when it's partially down. I have no rattles with the window full up or full down. I don't have the time to deal with it (nor does it bother me) but inserting some springy foam behind the window inside the door will probably fix it.

Rattle in my door, too

Hi guys. I have a 2010 Mazda3 that has this springy, rattle that happens whenever I hit a bump and it's been driving me nuts. I just came across this forum (and a couple of others) while trying to find a solution and I must say I am amazed that so many people can have the same issue like this, yet Mazda hasn't make any kind of recall. Of course it's not a safety issue, but it certainly affects the satisfaction level of their customer base.

Thank you all for taking the time to ask questions and to answer them. Now I have some idea of what I can check when trying to track down the noise.
