Does anyone have info on the thickness of f/r MS3 sway bars vs. non-MS3's and if they are directly interchangeable? (for 2011).

Thanks

Found the MS3 sizes: the FSB is 26 mm thick, while the RSB is 25 mm thick. Still not sure if they're directly interchangeable.

Current mods: CorkSport SRI // CorkSport strut tower bar // Tri-Point RSB // Tri-Point endlinks // JBarone short shift kit // DDM pedals // OEM footwell LED lights // OEM all-weather floormats // Tenzo Tracer V1 Black Matte 18x8.5 +48 // Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum 225/40R18 // McGard SplineDrive wheel lock kit // 35% window tint
Future mods: Road Magnet 1.25" springs // Koni Sports // CorkSport CBE or Racing Beat ABE // door vent visors

This is a great thread, I'm looking to get a RSB as my next purchase or the one after (might go short shifter first). Thanks for compiling all the info.

Has anybody else had noise issues with the Tri-Point? A friend of mine with a 1st Gen MZ3 has the TRI RSB + end-links and loves it, but it is noisy. I can definitely hear it when I ride with him.

CorkSport SRI - Interior LED Kit - Mudflaps / 50-35 Tint / Smoked Reflectors / 17x7.5 Enkei PF01 - 225/45 Hankook Ventus V12 / JBarone Racing RSB - SSP - Base Bushings / TWM Big Type R Gunmetal

I've had the Tri-Point for around 6 months now, and no noise issues at all, but that's probably because I am on stock end-links.

However, my Tri-Point bar ended up breaking one of my end-links about a month ago, and it seems like the Tri-Point bar has broken couple other peoples stock end-links (I did a few google searches and looked on mazda3forums). I'm not sure if it's just because its a bit more stiff than other bars, but it kinda sucks I might eventually have to buy their strengthened end-links. I haven't heard of any other bars breaking end-links, but maybe it's just because they don't post about it?

Thanks for the info, sucks to hear about the broken stock links. I may go with CS or JBR, hard to decide.

I'm pretty sure the noise is the TRI end-links. We went and re-greased everything, that kept it quite for a few days and then back to the same.

It seems like hit or miss with the Tri-Point end-links, some people say that they are barely any louder than running stock end-links.
If I were to do it again I'd probably go Corksport or JBR, since they both come with 12mm holes and washers to downsize to the 10mm stock Mz3 endlinks. That way I could just upgrade to sturdier MS3 12mm endlinks if one of them happened to break. With Tri-Point I either have to drill out a 12mm hole or buy their endlinks.

Tripoint endlinks are preload adjustable. How long or short do you have them? If your at stock ride height they ned to be short. The lower you are rthe longer they need to be. That might be the noise problem.

2013 MS3 (sold) / 2011 MS3 (sold) / 2010 MZ3 (sold)

2014 Lexus IS350 Silver lining metallic/Nav Pkg (current daily driver)

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone...

My newest vice.

Thanks for the input Warlord, I don't have the Tri-point RSB yet it's on my friends 3. I'll pass the info along and see if we can't get it quieted down.
