Help me to patch my libmc_user.so

I'm working on it for near 2 months, but at least i made it.
- Adding the support of FLAC. now the CMU can read FLAC files with the metadata.
- Alphabetic ordering of the track (by directory)

I fixed the link. Please help me to patch this file... Thank.
PS: Can you test in your car about copy multi .flac file to usb and then plug in car an play them with Media play on your car... in mine it stuck in loadding when copy multi flac file to usb, but with only one file flac it play with no problem.

I'm currently using it, with multiple files; it works. The file you sent is the same that mine. There is no change of this file between multiple versions.

 

OK, but the file size are diffirent your file is 1,98Mb, mine is 1,6Mb, so i think some code are diffirent....
I will try to install radare2 depencies to patch my file...

 

I sent you the patched file, it is normal that in this case the size is different, some code is appended to the original one

Where do you find the binary file libgstflac.so?

 

Probably in /usr/lib directory .

 

Not to hijack this thread, but is there anyway to compile some USB LTE modem drivers for this system? I know there have been people able to compile using the correct toolchain. Just a bit beyond my knowledge.

 

Since it is easy to enable WIFI on the CMU and you can just use a LTE MIFI card if needed, I am not sure if it worths the effort to get the USB modem working.

I haven't really tested the patch on 56.00.511; i have only find the new locations. I prefer not given you the binary can cause loop reboot if there is changes in the structures.

 

But if we have original libmc_user.so from 56.00.511 and someone makes the patch to your instructions, then the file will be OK?

I would do it by myself, but I only have Windows environment here, and I think that the radare2 dependencies are not working under Windows, or is it?

Maybe someone with more linux knowledge can do that?

For FW 56.00.230 there is a tweak for media order and FLAC support in AIO.

Because the patch process is quite complicated, we still don't have a version for 56.00.511 and also not for any other FW version.
Therefore AIO use the patched files from .230 for .511 too.
If other FW than .230 or .511 is detected during installation of tweaks (e.g. 56.00.100A ADR), no files will be replaced.

We need someone with deeper Linux knowledge, who can patch for other FW versions too.

 

Here is file libmc_user_56.00.511A.so . Use at you own risk. If you can me updated it will be great.

Can you make that for us?

And do you have a description for us, how to install the dependencies (Radare2) correctly, so that we can do it on our own in the future?

Is that possible in a virtualbox with Ubuntu 15.10?

And is it possibly under windows too, or only with Linux?

Compare the sha256sum(237BEC31D1AB1B366789E56C430EB5864DA9C480AA4505D395CF9594A5722224) of the US or ADR version against EU. I suspect that they are the same.
About radare2 it's a bit complicated to install(it takes me 30 minutes to correctly install it...). I haven't lot of free time these days, i will try to create a docker file or something equivalent in the future

 

I feel bad experiences bring to the forum. I made the mistake of applying the AIO with version 56.00.100 EU and non- ADR version. So libmc_user.so is not my causing system failures, USB stopped working . Fortunately I could connect via SSH using wifi. Someone has the original file?

If you used AIO for installing and don't used the uninstaller, then you have a libmc_user.so.org abd can rename that file.

If you used uninstaller, then libmc_user.so from .230A-EU System was restored.

I don't have original Version of libmc_user.so from .100A-EU.

What if you make an update to newest FW version (.230A-EU or .512A-EU)?

The libmc_user.so.org is in your MZD system in /jci/lib folder.

 

Thank you very much for this tweak; the FLAC support is very welcome and the ordering by track name should have been the default behavior all along.

Unfortunately, I'm experiencing an odd problem with the track ordering portion of the tweak. For some reason, it sorts my "ZZ Top" folder between my folders that start with numbers and my folders that start with the letter "A". I think it's possibly interpreting "ZZ" as some special character, but I'm not sure. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice to see fixed if you have the time. Thanks.

Had installed some tweaks from 55.00.753-NA Master Bundle a while back and tried to install "Track ordering" and FLAC support from AIO V1.43 but doesn't work, anybody have any ideas (and I don't know if this makes any difference but it now says my system is 55.00.750-B )

 

Running FW 55.00.00.753 with some tweaks from AIO 1.43, all is well except it will only play flac files if there are no more than 1 gb of files on the flash drive, can anyone solve this one? No limit to the amount of other audio files ( mp3 ,wma, etc.) I can load and play though.

 

Another interesting thing, I have 10 gb of .flac files on my nexus phone which have no problem playing?

 

Hi to everyone...

I am going to tell my story…I have installed flac files playback from AIO v1.42. The CMU version is 55.00.230 EU on my Mazda 6 2016, and I´m using a 32GB 2.0 pendrive in fat32.
At the beginning, everything was correct and the playback was smooth. I had 6GB of mp3 music, and less than 1GB of flac music, 16bit and 32bit, to be more accurate.
I have started to increase the number of flac files, I still have 6GB of mp3 music in the same folders, but now I have 3GB of flac music in artist folders.
I don´t know why, but It starts the playback, but after very few seconds, the USB gets frozen, and I have to reboot the whole system. I have tried in several pendrives and it is the same. It doesn´t matter the song the system plays, after 5 seconds or so, the USB gets frozen…

Any idea? Thanks in advance

What I did was for 56.00.100 4A N
1. Using AIO and selecting flac option.
2. By following diorcety guide, I copied libgstflac.so and libFLAC.so.8.3.0

I updated the sources. No more dependency to radare2 (the latest version doesn't work at all ...). Which will simplify the usage(no more tricky dependencies)

Hi diorcety! I sent you a private message some time ago. I'd like to know if the voices tts of the sd card in the navigation system could be somehow patched like the speedcam. The thing is that i'd like to modify this files to have the appropiate voices for the speedcam system. As i said in the private i manage to change the icons.
