SCBS Unavailable Message After EU 59.00.443C Update

I am getting a warning message:

SCBS Unavailable - SCBS temporarily unavailable due to excess Cabin Temperature. SCBS will become available when the cabin has cooled sufficiently.

There is no amber light on the dashboard and the warning appears and disappears from the warning list at random. Needles to say the cabin is not excessively warm when this occurs

This may be a coincidence but this behaviour only started after I installed the EU 59.00.443C firmware update this week.

Is anyone else seeing this warning - particularly those who have just installed the recent EU firmware update.

Does anyone have any info on this warning and whether I should take it as fault or not

I also happen to me since I updated to 59, not always but also I get the message in warnings of mzd.

Turning off and on again from the mzd menu turns off.

Well the IR laser and sensor are mounted on the windscreen behind the mirror so it kind of makes sense.

Personally I don't believe that this is a genuine error at all but rather something introduced by the EU 59 update. That's why I'm asking if others have seen this since the update

there are other SCBS device in the Mazda logo in the front grill; if that gets dirty or something is covering the Mazda logo, that "might" trigger the SCBS to malfunction.

Actually that is the Radar controlled SBS system and I don't have that on my car

Same here. I do have the SCBS (which by the way is a laser IR emitter + sensor mounted on the windscreen, as Pav99 has already described). I never had any issues with it, but after upgrading to V59 I'm also seeing the warning message that Pav99 has described.
