Which DRL-daytime running light to get?

Hi!

As my car doesn't have the factory led lights, I thought maybe just get an aftermarket DRL kit. There are many kits to choose from, all which intented to set up to the foglights.

I thought before I attack the ebay or any other places, I get some advices from here!

Thanks for any input!
I don't want the cheapest, I want to get the best option, which wouldn't look like some 10 dollars chinese rubbish...

I am also interested in LED bulbs to exchange with the factory daytime running light bulbs. Something like this:

This thread has a lot of fog light covers. Most of them are in the middle to the end.

I bought these
They work really well, they are bright even in direct sunlight
I've had em for a few months now

These are the best looking aftermarket DRL lights in my opinion
They use a light tube instead of individual led's so you get a solid beam of light

I disabled the factory high beam DRL's

I have those exact ones too and had them wired for when my car is on and have lasted only about 3 months before I had to replace one of them. Had to pay 25$ to get another one and now I just turn them on for about a week or so and have them off. Overall, they're awesome!!

That sucks, sorry to hear that
I guess I got a good set
I've had mine since about march and I haven't had any problems with them even with the intense heat here in Texas
Now that I think about it, I'm impressed mine haven't given me any issues
I drive my car everyday at 1PM for lunch with my car sitting in the sun, the feels like temps are about 110 degrees
The heatsinks on the back for the LED's are massive so I guess they are doing their job well

Maybe its the way you wired yours?
I tapped into this empty fuse port that powers with the engine on as shown by iJDMtoy for another one of their DRL lights and it works great

Thanks!

And are they so cheap?
I can't believe for about 60 USD You can get a thing like this?
Is it so complicated to wire them on? I mean I don't really like to meddle with my precious, new car so much, but if it takes only a few cables to connect, then I'd give them a go...

Thanks again!

Yes as long as you get them from China, shipping takes a while though
US sellers have them too but they sell them for over $100
I actually bought mine from China when they were still about $80 so this is a pretty sweet deal

as long as you have basic electrical wiring knowledge and can crimp a wire to a lead thats all you need
I literally just crimped a lead like the one shown below to the power cables on the included harness so I could plug it into the fuse box

you just need step 6 and 7 of this guide

http://www.autoconsumables.com/ekmps...dth-3344-p.jpg

It really is just plug and play
The harness itself plugs into the DRL covers, and then you just plug into the fuse box and the negative battery terminal
No splicing to any factory wires needed

I had wired mine to the ignition fuse Simply took out the fuse, stuck the wire in on the side and put the fuse back... Would turn on everytime i had the car on I bought mine on ebay from motorfansclub for about $90. Have noticed theyre prices have increased! Im in love with the DRLs, gives the car an aggressive look! IMO
