We love Mazda3, but what DON'T you love about it?

We all love our new 2014 Mazda 3...but nothing is perfect. What are your top gripes/complaints/wish-list items?

Here are mine:
1) No grocery bag hooks in the trunk
- Happy wife/happy life philosophy. Plus it make cornering with stuff in the back less enjoyable
2) Not enough storage/cubby space
- Happy wife/happy life again. My wife's tiny 2005 Toyota Echo has about 5x the storage space
3) HD Radio traffic NOT integrated with navigation
- I hope they integrate this in future release of MazdaConnect. Unless they way it is right now.
4) Navigation load time.
- I'm on v29
5) Comically small tachometer on the 3i.
- One of the reasons I bough the 3s.
6) Navigation volume, does not increase to match your music's volume.
- Since navigation only mutes the driver side music, if the music is load from the passenger side, the navigation voice still gets drowned out
7) Road noise
- It's not that bad. Mine came with Dunlop tires and I think they are better than the other OEM tires.
No air vents or power outlets for the back seats
- Should be there for at least the 3S or GT trims. Not that I have rear passengers often.

1. No auto close for sunroof (wish all windows were auto open/close like the vw)
2. Headliner feels like cardboard haha
3. Wind noise at freeway speeds (road noise fixed for the most part with new Michelin tires)
4. HUD dims when sun is behind you (better if it would stay bright)
5. Lack of storage, doors are kinda useless and the center armrest storage is tiny.

That's all I can think of right now lol Btw @smoothmoose v31 fixes the navi volume issue and doesn't cut off driver side anymore

I changed tires from the stock Dunlops and the road noise was reduced significantly, especially on smoother roads. However, that's no excuse for Mazda choosing inferior tires just because they could get them cheaper.

Wow, nothing on that list actually bothered me. No options for 'none of the above' or 'other'?

Send a message via Yahoo to XplosiV
1,2,7 & 8 are fair points, 3 is region specific as wifi and connected services / live traffic are fine outside the USA, 4 is most likely firmware specific, at best for me it's a 'niggle' what's more annoying is the pop up message every time you start the car. 5 is model specific, so that's kind of debatable, 6, well the nav volume is independent of the music volume, so it's not like you can't change it on the fly.

There's definitely room for improvement, but the 3 is still a good all rounder. Hopefully Mazda will address some of these issues in future models, so time will tell.

There's a whole thread about this that doesn't have a worthless limited poll.
