To three or not to three? De-badge?

@BearlyHere had a picture of his car in a window tint thread and his '3' was removed from the hatch. I previously removed my 'Skyactiv' badge and am now thinking about pulling the 3 off as well. What do you guys think? Does it look better with or without the '3' after 'Mazda'?

I really wish the Mazda plate didn't have holes. It would look so clean without 'Mazda 3' on the back.

Thanks!

Well after 60+ views to my post and no replies I decided to pull the 3 off.

And here's an after picture.

I think it looks better without the 3.

I was thinking about it, but now that you mention the "MAZDA" badge has holes,I guess I'm not. "Mazda, Mazda" seems a little redundant to me.

this is what I was thinking. Personally, I don't like any sort of debadging or adding badges. Keep it OEM.

Yes, redundant. My point on debadging was to avoid dirt & water deposits on emblems, not exactly to be different.

Sometimes a debadge can look good, sometimes it can look weird like something is missing, I think the gen3 would look the strangest.

I ran no badges for a while, front and rear, and it looked awfully ricey for some reason to me, it just looked off.

However, I painted the rear badges white, and I've been pretty happy with how they look for several years now.

Of course; you couldn't paint yours white, but a color match ... has a chance of looking okay.
