OEM aftermarket

I finally got around to doing the stock 16s on my 3 hatch gold a couple months ago. Two coats of Rust-o-leum Metallic Gold and three coats of Duplicolor Bronze wheel paint. I'd say it turned out really well.

That is sick! I have the Deep Crystal Blue Mica too and have been thinking of plastidipping the wheels bronze or gold. I like this!

Someone on here recommended I plastidip them before going full on paint or powdercoat to make sure I liked the colour, but I decided photoshop was enough.... haha. I'd say go for it. IMO the wheels look best in the bronze finish, but they also looked really nice with the glittery gold as the first coats were drying.

All you gotta do is make sure the wheels are cleaned off real well, dried, scuffed with a red Scotchbrite pad (you can buy a 6x9" pack of 3 on eBay for like nothing and they're more flexible than sandpaper) and that you have something like index cards inserted between the wheel/tire to catch any sprayover if you end up doing a more permanent solution.
