installed it via script. copied the app to /tmp/tmp folder then run the install.sh

as mentioned above there is a mistake in the script... look at page259..

i got the same... are you able to hear radio fm or park distance controll?? could you still ssh into the car via wifi??

i use my backup of the system.. when you backup keep in mind to press the clutch befor 20 minutes - same as when you update to another version... otherwise the system shutdown

also make sure to enable writing rights to systemjs

What exactly is the mistake in the script doing?

It ran just fine for me, straight off the USB drive.

Sorry for my long absence..
Yes, it was my fault with installation script. I will correct it soon.

Good work!

I have idea to try to play video in opera :smile2:
I see @waisky2 ahead of me
I put videotest.html and SampleVideo.mp4 in /jci/gui
Code:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body>

<video width="320" height="240" controls>
  <source src="/jci/gui/SampleVideo.mp4" type="video/mp4">
  Your browser does not support the video tag.
</video>

</body>
</html>
And execute command ('Navigate to' in opera test client):
Code:
/jci/opera/test/OPERA_TEST_CLIENT
5 /jci/gui/videotest.html
As a result, the player is loaded, but nothing happens.
Console errors:
Code:
00:02:20.147 Std[] Error (: ) (gst-plugin-scanner:4795): GStreamer-WARNING **: Failed to load plugin '/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libmfw_gst_mpeg2dec.so': lib_mpeg2_dec_arm11_elinux.so.2.2.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Exactly where is the mistake you are referring to?

That happend because the mistake in the code as i said before. it must be reset_board="no" instead of reset_board="yes"
i think there must something more different...

i just try the installation manual without the script but it does not show the speedometer app..
so i mess around and stuck again in the startanimation...

ok nothing too bad, just copied the original files back to the system and everything fine.. but i dont get the speedometer working

maybe there is a difference in the version?? i use v33

i did everything exactly like serezhka mentioned in the post 2528...

another interessting fact.. i just restore the original sm.conf but nothing happend.. i restore the opera folder and the stage_wifi too and "babumm" system starts correct

i think there is something wrong with the opera-part... maybe the activation of userscripts??

i'm confused..

ok i think i will never use it, because i hate to touch the touchscreen 0:) but i'm just interessting in testing new things:nerd::nerd:...

edit:
@anhnga
also in your usb-script i see the reset_board="no" is correct so there MUST be a difference at another place.. i used your script as well as i used the manual instructions
after your script i stuck in the animation after the manual instruction i see nothing -.-

You really need to upgrade. I can't speak to all of them, but most of the tweaks people are authoring are designed on/for v51/v55, and they aren't really backwards compatible. I used the install.sh on a USB and ran from SSH, and had no problems installing the speedometer (v55.753)

Step 1 should be to upgrade to the newest firmware, then play with the tweaks.

yeah i think you are right... but the other tweaks work fine :)

i never thought they the changes are so big

Yeah some tweaks might work, but in other instances they have made bigger changes. I know people have mentioned that they altered the file structure for several items at one point, which might cause a boot-loop if you tell the system to auto-load something that isn't there.

hi guys, just to update you all the video playback thing that i was doing has been very successful.
wanted to capture video for you to view unfortunately phone no battery.

here the feature, and tested running very well already :smile2:
- no longer require the USB auto run tweak
- can generate video list menu from your USB drive
- can start / stop playback anytime

current limitation;
- the stop playback is really stop, not pause, so if play the same video again it will start from beginning
- no seek time
- it is using gst-launch; whatever that limited by gst-launch

coming up;
- final "touch up" coding
- use mobile to control the playback. you can see the same video list in your mobile and can click to start/stop playback (yes, 99% this can be done already :laugh2: )

will upload video in few hours later.

hohoho, now i can go sleep already, it's 5 in the morning.
