That would be splendid because it looks pretty tedious to copy every image manually given that the images are spread out over a lot of directories.

 

Okay, here is another version of my auto-flash scripts. I can't test it on my car as the wife has it for the day SO YOU ARE USING THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

It basically just pushes each file to the server in the same position as in the structure he provided. It will overwrite anything there.

I finally settled on the blue, very cool.
I am however unable to get the blue to come up on the bottom of the Nav screen, I did copy the files to the Ump2 and Ump3 folders, all else looks great. Just me = i can re-flash V33 and redo.

hey @mrnerdbanger I just flashed your Blue theme on v55 and everything looks fine but I was looking at the gui/common/controls folder and it appears that a number of folders were removed from v55 (such as Ump2, now there is only Ump3). I took a breath and ran your script anyways, and even though all of the old folders were copied over, there doesn't seem to be any adverse effects. Do you plan on updating your theme script to properly support v55 and the modified folders?

 

I'm not sure. I've been kinda crazy busy with some other projects at the moment. I actually wanted to change the look of the GUI more. Did that other thread ever figure out how to do the themes they were speaking of? I updated it recently but now I'm trying to make sure all the images work and instead of running out to my car every time by running it locally on my computer but V55 this is the only thing i get it to show. if anyone can help me with getting the console to actually show up that would help me a lot quicker

 

Hey Great work and helpful scripts to deploy. Just a friendly heads up to OP or anyone wanting to use this, the "Default" folder doesn't have original images included, so reverting won't be as easy. A quick grep for pngs can pull the folder hierarchy to script&backup what you need though.

Hello. I was looking to see if anyone had the torrent still up, or could share it somewhere (dropbox or something)? I left the original magnet open and didn't see anything connect after a while (like half an hour to an hour) so I'm just checking.

Also, I'm new to hacking into the ITS, so any help for a newbie is greatly appreciated.

Not to necro the thread, but +1 to this. Been putting off doing any type of system modifications to mine, but now I'm really hoping for a blue theme. I have a dedicated seedbox I can host this on for awhile if needed as well.


Edit: Looks like I got a seed overnight, woke up to the download being finished I'll keep seeding this from my desktop for now and will eventually move it over to the seedbox. I also gotta say, I like the batch files for flashing these. Really great idea for those that are scared to touch Putty/SFTP themselves.

 

I am having the same issue with blue not being the color for nav on V55. did you figure out a solution?

 

yes. a bunch of the files have moved locations, merged, or changed names so i need to take some time to go through and find all the images again. if someone wants to go through and single out all the images inside the ici/ folder i can batch do the color change again and push out an update. i've just been super busy lately and haven't had time to go through every folder and replicate it with just the images

 

Looking forward to the v55 updates! I am a customization junkie.

@fitisgo... yes and no. i have one version that i use that fully changed all of the stock images. i don't have this anywhere yet.

as for the stock images to be just tinted no, i was waiting for someone to grab all the images from the /jci folder since they've all moved around. last i heard @velse was going to attempt it.

In my case, it's the Entertainment section that didn't change colors.

I have v55 and i'll be looking for a way to copy the missing files for that section. I'm quite new in all of this, so it might take a while until I find the way to extract them. If anyone could give some pointers as to where to start I'd be grateful.
