You're apt to get a more constructive response if you do a little preliminary research on the fitment issue first. Try using an online "tire fitment comparison tool" like this one, then come back to the community with more specific queries. Just a friendly suggestion. :smile2:
By the way, I like the concave look of the rims you're considering and am myself looking into getting some 215/50/R17 tires for my +1 rims.
The +40 offset is 10mm less than the +50 offset on my (our?) 16-inch OEM wheels, hence the wonderfully concave look.
Should I consider a 225/45/R17 instead of 215/50/R17 considering the wheels are 8'' wide?
I would prefer the 215/50/R17 because they would have less impact on the speedo vs my OEM 205/60/R16, but I guess 225/45/R17 would be better for 8" wide wheels...
I'm running 18x8 et 40 with 225/45 and no rub at all with stock suspensions...until I installed road magnet springs. Those required a fender roll on the rear. If you do plan on lowering I would get the eibachs instead. Nothing lower than ~1.2 in the back
pretty sure it will fit. I have 19x8.5 on 225/35/19 and lowered on CS springs. No issues.I also have similar wheels to those. I have the niche milan 134's. Exact same style just five spokes instead of 7..the matte black is a pain to keep clean tho.sadly.
