Nice to see another Vancouverite here. Did Rmd get a big dump? I'm guessing being so close to the water you didn't get too much. I'm out in tri-cities, so we got a good 6". Turning off the DSC will make a world of difference. A lot of times I'll turn it off in the rain too, the road is just too slick to have it on. Pretty useless function in Van IMO.
The stock tires are such crap, I definitely think you should invest in snowies. I got mine from National Tire Wholesale in Delta. $110 per tire, and something like $20 for installation. I think they will change your tires back to summers for free too (I was in shock at the cost of new tires & rims together so I didn't really pay attention to that haha)
