Long overdue update but I my phone so I'll make it short and simple.
Moved to Charleston, SC to start my career in engineering. If you are an aspiring student, feel free to pm me with questions or to look over resumes and such.
Purchased and installed a Bee*R rev limiter. For the time being I've soldered the engine bay connections and planned on doing everything else today after installing some buttons but due to lack of proper tools and some prep on my end, it will be postponed until my next install day. Expect a write up on the unit once it's all soldered and such.
Purchased a CPE Flex stage 2 mount to test out. Turns out the trans bracket has a different bolt pattern than the regular 3s so I've sold that and will be buying a Damon Motorsports mount. Both the CPE and the Damon shift the plane of the bushing(right term?) from horizontal to vertical to better counteract the motor moving as well as increasing the lifespan.
Swapped to my OEM wheels with DWS's for the couple of cold months.
Still haven't received a new tune file from
but I know he's been busy with SEMA and I myself have been with moving and starting my job. Still plan to move my Mazdaedit software to a netbook I picked up so I don't have to lug my 17" laptop around to log/flash.
Greased my rear sway bar bushings with some JT6 since they were being noisy over humps. Gonna look at getting some new bushings and the JBR billet brackets in the near future.
Checked my brakes and am planning to bleed them the next time I work on the car along with the other items listed above. Pads and rotors will be replaced in the spring most likely.
In the next six months or so, I'd like to get an AEM cold air intake, vinyl wrap the roof and rear valence in gloss black, a new Types Racing front bumper, finish my self-designed UEL header and have it built, maybe some new wheels and tires, and new BC ER coils with custom specs. It's alot of stuff and it most likely won't all be done but we will see.
